2018 Imagine Walk
Time & Location
About The Event
We are excited to announce that The Autism Project (TAP) is hosting its 16th Annual Imagine Walk and Family Fun Day for Autism on Sunday, April 29th at Goddard Memorial State Park in Warwick, RI -- and we want YOU to be a part of it!
The Imagine Walk is The Autism Project's largest fundraising event of the year. All funds raised at the Walk directly support important programs at TAP -- social skills groups, summer camp, our Leadership Academy -- where children and teens with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) learn life skills that foster independence, improve communication, and increase self-confidence. Your participation in the Walk allows us not only to continue to provide these programs -- and others such as our trainings and parent support groups -- but also to develop new ones for the over 10,000 Rhode Islanders who have been diagnosed with an ASD, their families, and those who serve them. We truly couldn't do what we do without our amazing Imagine Walkers!
We invite you to enjoy a fun-filled day for the whole family! Following the 2 kilometer walk, activities will include pony rides, bounce houses, arts and crafts, facepainting, music, a reptile show, and a sensory tent - as well as food, drinks, and much, much more!
Thank you for all that you do and for your willingness to "Imagine," and see you on April 29!
